Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Attorneys Bizar and Boyle Named BTI Client Service All-Stars

January 20, 2009

Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, PA, January 20, 2009 ― Litigation shareholder Steven E. Bizar and Health Care shareholder Thomas E. Boyle of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC, were named 2009 BTI Client Service All-Stars for superior client service. Only 176 attorneys from North America, South America and Europe received this distinction from their clients. Buchanan was one of only 25 firms boasting two All-Stars this year.

The BTI Consulting Group, the leading provider of strategic market research to law firms and professional services firms, performs more market research about law firms than virtually anyone. BTI conducts the only continuous benchmarking market study in the legal services industry based on more than 1,900 independent interviews with general counsel and key decision makers that hire law firms. The All-Stars were named by their clients at Fortune 1000 and large companies as attorneys who differentiate themselves in three key aspects of client service: client focus, understanding of the client's business and delivering results.

More than 65 percent of the clients surveyed nominated attorneys based on their unyielding dedication to client focus, which is defined as "being highly responsive to clients' individual goals and objectives, providing highly personalized strategic legal advice and going above and beyond the call of duty to service any client needs."

The All-Stars were also applauded for their keen awareness of the client's business, asking the right questions, listening to their clients and maneuvering through the legal environment with their tactical problem-solving skills to simply get things done.
