Philadelphia, PA, August 6, 2008 — Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney shareholder Francis X. Taney, Jr., has been named a 2008 Lawyer on the Fast Track by The Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly.

Taney was one of 35 Pennsylvania attorneys selected as the future leaders of the state's legal community.

Full profiles of this year's honorees will be included in a supplement to be published in both papers Monday, September 22. The winners will also be honored at a dinner at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia on Thursday, October 16.

Taney's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation in a variety of substantive areas. He has experience in construction, antitrust, copyright, trade secret and information technology (IT) litigation, as well as disputes involving eminent domain and government contracts.
